This Privacy Policy describes how Nexus Networking Technologies, LLC collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information, including information collected through our website and our business text messaging (SMS) program. It is published on the nexusnt.com website and is referenced in our SMS campaign registration with our phone-system provider.

Effective date: October 8, 2026

1. Who We Are and What This Policy Covers

Nexus Networking Technologies, LLC, doing business as Nexus Network Technologies (“Nexus,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), provides managed IT, networking, and related technology services to businesses. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have.

This policy applies to information we collect through:

  • our website at nexusnt.com and any pages that link to this policy (the “Site”);
  • phone calls, emails, and text messages (SMS) with our team, including our business phone numbers; and
  • our business dealings with clients, prospective clients, vendors, and their representatives.

Client data we manage on your behalf. When we deliver managed services, we may access or host data that belongs to our clients (for example, data on client systems, networks, or cloud tenants). We handle that data as a service provider under our agreements with each client, and those agreements govern it. This policy covers the information Nexus collects for its own business purposes.

Our Site and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to individuals under 18.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information we need to communicate with you, deliver our services, and run our business.

Please do not send passwords, payment card numbers, or other sensitive personal information through our website forms or by text message.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

  • respond to your questions and requests, and provide technical support;
  • deliver, manage, and bill for our services, and carry out our contracts;
  • communicate with you by email, phone, and text message about your account, support tickets, and scheduled work;
  • operate, secure, and improve the Site and our services;
  • send business updates you have asked for, with an option to opt out at any time;
  • prevent fraud and protect the security of Nexus, our clients, and our systems; and
  • comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations and enforce our agreements.

If we want to use personal information for a purpose that is not compatible with these, we will tell you first.

4. Text Messaging (SMS)

Nexus uses its business phone numbers to text clients and their staff. We send two kinds of texts:

  • Support conversations: two-way messages about your support requests, such as troubleshooting, ticket updates, and scheduling.
  • Service notifications: informational messages that may go to many recipients at once, such as outage and incident alerts, planned maintenance notices, security advisories, and updates about your services or account.

We do not send marketing or promotional texts.

How You Opt In

You can opt in to texts from Nexus in any of these ways:

  • By texting us. When you send a text to one of our business phone numbers, you agree that we may reply and continue that conversation by text.
  • In writing. You give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts during client onboarding, on a Nexus service form, or through our website.
  • You tell a Nexus team member that you agree to receive texts, and we record your consent.

We send service notifications only to people who have opted in in writing or verbally. Texting us first opts you in to replies about that conversation only. Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of buying any service.

Message Frequency and Cost

Message frequency varies. Support conversations depend on your requests, and service notifications depend on events that affect your services. Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile carrier plan.

How to Opt Out or Get Help

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from Nexus. We will send one confirmation message, and no further texts will be sent unless you opt in again, for example by replying START. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at 919-897-2700 or privacy@nexusnt.com.

What We Collect

For text messaging, we collect your mobile phone number, the content of the messages you send and receive, and the date and time of each message. We use this information only to respond to you, provide support, and keep records of our communications.

We Do Not Share Your Mobile Information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. The information-sharing practices described elsewhere in this policy do not apply to mobile phone numbers, text messaging opt-in data, or consent. We may use a messaging service provider (such as our phone-system provider) to deliver texts, and that provider may process your number only to deliver messages on our behalf.

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only as described below, and never share mobile information or text messaging opt-in data as described in Section 4.

  • Service providers. Vendors that help us run our business, such as phone and messaging, email and collaboration, ticketing and remote support, accounting and payments, website hosting, and security tools. They may use personal information only to provide services to Nexus and must protect it.
  • Technology partners and manufacturers. When needed to deliver your services, for example to register equipment, open a support case with a vendor, or process a license order. We share only what the task requires.
  • Professional advisors. Lawyers, accountants, auditors, and insurers, under confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal and safety reasons. When required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when needed to protect the rights, property, or safety of Nexus, our clients, or others.
  • Business transfers. If Nexus is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, personal information may transfer to the new owner, who must honor this policy.
  • With your consent. In any other case where you ask us to or agree to it.

6. Cookies and Analytics

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies. Cookies are small text files stored on your device.

  • Necessary cookies make the Site work, for example by remembering your cookie choice and keeping the Site secure.
  • Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the Site, such as which pages are visited and how long visits last. We may use third-party analytics services that set their own cookies and collect information about your use of the Site.

We do not use cookies to sell your personal information. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you block cookies, some parts of the Site may not work as intended. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as a request to opt out of any sale or targeted-advertising use of your information, where applicable.

7. Data Security and Retention

As an IT and security services company, we protect personal information with administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. These include access controls and multi-factor authentication, encryption, endpoint protection and security monitoring, and limiting access to staff who need it for their work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the authorities as required by law.

We do not have fixed retention periods for all personal information. We keep it as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, based on ongoing business needs and legal, tax, and contractual requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

8. International Processing

Nexus is based in the United States, and we support clients with offices in other countries. Personal information we collect may be processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from the laws where you live. When we transfer personal information across borders, we take the steps that applicable law requires to protect it.

Legal Bases

If you are in a country whose data-protection law requires a legal basis for processing, we process your personal information to perform a contract with you or your organization; for our legitimate interests in providing support, managing client relationships, and securing our systems; to comply with legal obligations; and with your consent where the law requires it.

International Privacy Rights

You may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information; to restrict or object to its processing; to receive a portable copy; and to withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, email privacy@nexusnt.com. You may also have the right to complain to the data-protection authority in your country.

9. Your Choices and Privacy Rights

  • Know and access the personal information we hold about you and how we use and share it;

  • Opt out of the sale of personal information, “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising, targeted advertising, and certain profiling. Nexus does not sell or share personal information for these purposes;
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information. Nexus does not use sensitive personal information for purposes that require this right; and
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

The Site may link to third-party websites, such as LinkedIn or our technology partners. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their policies before giving them information.
